Regattas
The San Francisco Yacht Club has a long tradition of sailing and racing excellence dating back more than 150 years. Members of the SFYC have won Olympic medals and raced in all corners of the globe. Wide recognition of the Club's race management capabilities have enabled the SFYC to attract significant national and international championship regattas. The race program is supported by dedicated SFYC members and members of the broader sailing community who volunteer more than 4,800 hours each year, enabling sailors from all over the world to sail in the world-renowned San Francisco Bay breeze and visit beautiful Marin County.
Head to the 'Race Volunteers' tab to get involved as a race committee volunteer this season.

If you podiumed while sailing under the SFYC burgee, we want to know about it. Every Sunday, we look for regatta results from Members competing near and far to be included in the Bow Wave.
Here’s how to participate:
- Send your regatta results and report (100 words or fewer) to [email protected] by 6:00pm on Sunday. If your report is longer, we reserve the right the edit it. We only report the results of boats who made podium while sailing under the SFYC burgee.
- Send 2-3 photos that are high res and at least 500KB apiece. If your photos are smaller, we won’t be able to publish them.
- Include a link to results.
- Look for your results in the Bow Wave!
