Elite Keel Regatta

This year's Elite Keelboat Regatta drew over 50 boats in five fleets. The J/105 fleet was about as big as it gets, with 26 boats on the line! Saturday saw southerly breeze building with rain all day. By the time boats were on their way in after the third race it was windy and soggy. Sunday brought tamer conditions for the two races to round out the regatta.
The race committee was led by PRO Jeff Zarwell with S/C Suzie Moore, Shawn Davies, Lynnie Spiller, Jack Mclaughlin, Jane Chope, Dave Krone, Mark Blumendranz, Roxanne Fairbairn, Steve Fentress, Tony Scott, Alex Rothenberg, Mary Grant, Kamran Masood, Michelle Masood and Paul Mourani. The protest committee heard two hearings and was Tom Roberts, Mike Gross and David James.
